Getting the most out of your tiles
- Look for bingos: using all seven tiles in Scrabble earns a 50-point bonus. Common bingo-friendly racks contain letters from RETAINS.
- Hook letters: adding S, D or R to an existing word often makes a new one.
- High-value letters: sort by score to see where Q, Z, X and J fit best.
- Two-letter words like QI, ZA, XU and JO (where allowed) let you play big tiles in tight spots.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find words from my letters?
Type the letters you have (for example your tiles), then optionally choose a length, a starting letter, an ending or letters the word must contain. The finder lists every matching word, sorted by length or tile score.
Does the word finder work for Scrabble and Words With Friends?
It is a great helper for word games. Scores use the standard English Scrabble tile values without board bonuses. The dictionary is a general English list, so a few words may not be valid in a specific game's official dictionary.
What does the question mark do?
A ? is a blank tile that can be any letter. "rea?" finds words like read, real, ream, rear and dare.
Can I use this for Wordle?
Yes, for brainstorming. Set the length to 5, add letters you know are in the word to "Contains", and use the starts or ends filters for green letters at the edges.
Is it cheating?
That depends on who you play with. It is perfect for practice, learning new words, settling arguments after a game or solo play. In competitive games, agree on the rules first.
