Blocks needed–
Center–

How to read the guide

  • Each square is one block (or pixel, bead or stitch).
  • The number at the start of each row is how many blocks that row needs.
  • Darker lines mark every 5th block so you can count quickly.
  • The highlighted cross marks the center.

Building tips

  • Build one quarter, then mirror it; circles are symmetrical in all four quarters.
  • Mark the center first with a contrasting block and measure out from there.
  • For domes and spheres, stack circles that get smaller as you go up.
  • Very small circles (under 7 blocks) look more like octagons; that is normal for pixels.

Frequently asked questions

How do I build a circle in Minecraft?

Enter the diameter in blocks, choose filled or outline, and follow the grid row by row. The numbers on each row tell you how many blocks to place, so you can count as you build.

Should I use an even or odd diameter?

An odd diameter (like 15 or 21) has a single center block, which makes it easier to line up towers and domes. An even diameter has a 2 × 2 center and looks slightly rounder at small sizes.

Can I make ovals?

Yes. Untick "Circle" and enter a different width and height to create an ellipse.

What does thickness do?

For outlines, thickness sets how many blocks wide the ring is. A thickness of 1 is a thin wall; 2 or 3 makes a sturdy wall that looks solid from every angle.

Is this tool affiliated with Minecraft?

No. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. This is an independent pixel-art helper that works for any block game, cross-stitch, perler beads or pixel art.
