A simple paint app, right in your browser

This drawing tool works like the classic paint programs: choose a tool on the left, pick a color and draw on the white canvas. It runs fully in your browser, so it opens instantly on Windows, Mac, Chromebooks, iPads and phones.

Tools explained

  • Brush: smooth, round strokes. Pencil: thin, crisp lines for outlines.
  • Spray: an airbrush effect. Move slowly for denser color.
  • Fill: the paint bucket. Click inside a closed shape to fill it with color.
  • Pick color: click anywhere on the picture to use that exact color.
  • Line, Rectangle, Ellipse: press and drag. Tick "Filled shapes" for solid shapes.
  • Text: click on the canvas, type and press Enter. Bigger brush size means bigger text.

Tips for better drawings

  • Draw outlines with the pencil first, then fill them with the bucket. Make sure each outline is closed.
  • Use Undo (Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z) freely. Every stroke can be undone, and so can "New canvas".
  • Open a coloring page or a photo, then paint on top of it. The saved PNG includes everything.
  • Pick the canvas size before you start: changing it later starts a fresh canvas.

Frequently asked questions

Is this drawing app free?

Yes, completely free with no sign-up and no watermark. Your drawing stays in your browser and is never uploaded.

How do I save my drawing?

Press "Save PNG" to download your picture as an image file. The canvas is not saved automatically, so save before you close the tab.

How does the paint bucket work?

Choose Fill, pick a color and click inside a closed area. The color spreads until it reaches a line of a different color. If there is a gap in the outline, the paint leaks through it, so close gaps first or undo and try again.

Can I color in a picture I already have?

Yes. Press "Open image" to place a picture on the canvas, then paint over it. Line art and coloring pages work well with the Fill tool.

Can I draw with a stylus?

Yes. A stylus, finger, mouse or trackpad all work. Touch scrolling is turned off over the canvas so your strokes do not move the page.
